Well, I was born and raised in Owosso, Michigan.  I went to the University of Michigan - Flint for a year before transferring up to Ferris state University.  I currently am a second year student in the College of Pharmacy and will graduate in May of 2014 (which is also when Alyssa is graduating).

I currently work as a Pharmacy Intern for Rite Aid.  I've worked for them for several years and hopefully will be able to stay with them after I graduate (which seems like ages from now).


I am a huge Detroit Red Wings fan.  I've been to several games over the past few years, my first against the Dallas Stars during the 07-08 season which is the last year they won the Stanley Cup.  My most resent visit was Dec 10 this year against the Winnipeg Jets, the Wings won 7-1 so I would have to say it was a good game.  Actually, the Wings have won every single game that I've been able to go see, so maybe I'm a good luck charm or something.

I'm also a Detroit Lions fan.  I really got into the Lions during their infamous 0-16 season because I lived with one of my really good friends who just happens to be a diehard Lions fan.  I took Alyssa to the home opener against the Kansas City Chiefs this year.  It was a ton of fun and I'm definitely planning on going to many more games.
